Table Mountain

The other day we went walking on Table Mountain.  It's part of the backdrop to Cape Town.  During the winter months the peak is covered in a thick blanket of fog.  As we walked there was a deaf silence and the landscape was void of color.  All the sudden (what looked like) a New York City Rat peeked out over the rocks...turns out it's called a dassie and they run in packs! Good thing they were friendly.  On a more serious note though... the mountain can be very dangerous.  A 7 year old boy fell off and died a few days ago.  Visibility is low and the terrain is not forgiving.  These are just a few of the pics...more to come.
